nokia 5320 : messaging memory full

guys i am using nokia 5320 and today when i try to open messaging option it shows me "messaging memory full close some applications and try again error"
i switched my mobile off,i restored factory settings but to no avail..
friends i dont want to format my mobile as it will delete my all messages which are important
i have 29 mb free phone memory
is it bcoz of virus???if yes then how do i remove it??
guys plz help i m really worried bcoz my messages are very important for me...

Try change setting -> Save msg to phone. I don't think it is a virus

hey thanks for replying but messaging dont open only so from where should i change that..do u think some memory files might be deleted ..if yes how to recover them..i dont want to lose my messages

I'm sorry I don't really have a symbian at the moment with me, but I have faced a similar problem. If you search a bit among the settings I'm sure you will find it.

hi

try Nokia pc suite and get your messages store to pc..check that all messages stored completely then you can try software update..

probably you need some data recovery tool. I had the case before and i found a tool called EaseUS. You can take a try.

Your Android Device does not have a Virus.

 

It's because some of your app's need to conserve (save) memory for specific features.

It's because some of your app's need to conserve (save) memory for specific features.

Along with this, you should get a SD Card so you will have extra storage space.

 

But for current advice:

Uninstall any apps not needed.

Delete any Pictures & Videos you don't need.

Try using a utility such as 'CCleaner' on your phone to delete junk.

It is possible that it is not the messages that saturated your memory, looks rather on the side of videos, photos and music.
