ali.B, I don't know what to tell you. The boot process files are in place. Unless there is a driver locking up the process I see no reason why it shouldn't boot.

Why did you run SFC? Were you having issues with a device such as sound, video, USB port, .... etc.?

In that case, and since he mentioned malware, obtain an MBRDUMP.TXT as I suggested to you before. The difference between you and him is that your issue doesn't seem to be malware related.

I ran a SFC because i noticed in the last week that when plugging my external hard disk it takes up to 10-15 seconds to show it in My Computer.

So i ran it just for the heck of checking, that's a lesson learned in the hard way.

I was able to get into the Windows using Last Known Good Configuration :)
