Printer always disapearing from printer choices until reboot

Ok we have windows 7 on an HP Touchsmart and anHP Touchspart web printer.The printer will show up in our list of printers for awhile then poof it disappears until I restart the computer then it is back again. This always happens when I am in a hurry. Why is it disappearing all the time? It shows up again after I reboot. It never disappears when I am using my Mac..I assume it has something to do with this computer. Please help!
