Nikon Pics fine on computer but when email they download with no pictu

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but does anybody have a idea what would cause my pictures to not go through? The pictures go on the computer with no problem and I can upload them to facebook. The only problem is when I send them it's a black screen. Any ideas are welcome :)

There are some security applications that make all picture files black, preventing malware to make screenshots...

Can't think of anything else... :)
