If you are running Vista or Windows 7 then be sure to initialize this hard drive using GUID rather than size limited MBR. We have all been though these HD size limitions at least a dozen times before in the past 20 years. Hopefully GUID is the end of that. GUID will format to 8ZB. 1024 terabytes is 1 petabyte. 1024 petabytes is 1 exabyte and 1024 exabytes is 1 zetabyte. Be sure also, that your motherboard actually has 6Gbps SATA plugins.
