Can anyone tell me why i'm getting a blue and sometime vertical line on my laptop screen???

Could you firstly tell us the make and model of your laptop, that would help a lot. Also, does the line appear as soon as you turn the computer on (that is, before Windows has loaded) or afterwards. If before, it is most likely a physical fault with the laptop monitor, if after, you could try to re-install all video related drivers

Hi Winifred Slimani sorry to hear that you are having a display problem with your laptop.
Please provide the brand and model name or number (not serial) of the laptop as requested by ZaRMan so that we can do some research.
If your laptop has an external VGA port and you have access to another screen try hooking the laptop up to the other screen to see if the issue reoccurs, let us know the results.
