Installed MSE a few days ago and it was working fine, turned the system on today and it is turned off and will not turn back on... I tried googling it a bit and saw something that possible Windows defender could interfere with it? Do I need to uninstall Defender if I'm using MSE? If so how do I do it?

thanks!

NOTE- Restart, update, restart seems to have resolved it...

If you are running Microsoft Security Essentials, you do not need to run Windows Defender. Microsoft Security Essentials is designed to disable Windows Defender in order to manage the PC’s real-time protection, including anti-virus, rootkits, Trojans and spyware.
