network card won't install on XP system

i have an XP system that i just took back to factory settings. I'm trying to install a Netgear USB wireless card and it just hangs up when I load the drivers. I get a message when I turn the system on that I'm missing the 'athcfg11.dll' file. So I can't access the internet with the XP computer currently.
