I've been having issues with my computer, I was running Windows XP before the Desktop went blank (No Icons) and task manager stopped working/ can't start it any which way. Also there are pop-ups when doing searches with google and computer is really slow. Computer came with a Vista Buisness upgrade and recently upgraded to it thinking it may fix the issues. Still no Task manager or icons on desktop, but popups stopped and computer seems slightly faster. Deffinitely believe this is spyware/malware related but I can't seem to clean it. This computer is used as a POS for our business so I've put off cleaning it but want to get it working properly again. Can someone help me out if a simple spyware cleaner will do the trick or guide me through how to clean it. Any and all help is appreciated. THANK YOU!

***I'm now running Windows Vista Buisness and I have Norton internet security running on it after this issue started happening.

Okay so I downloaded "Malwarebytes" because it was a recommended spyware scaning tool, and it found some infections, but I want to know if I should go ahead and delete/quarentine the files/ is it safe to do so without any other complications.

I'm attaching the log for it.
