Hi, i am trying to restore to factory setting an Asus k52f laptop which i bought at the Pawn couple of days ago. It comes with pre-installed windows 7 and MS 2010 starter. I've already tried doing it by the system repair disc i created but all it does is repair and not restore or reformat. I do not have the windows 7 installation disc so that is also not an option. I also tried restoring from the system image but it didn't work of course. Can anyone help with this? I've done it with an HP laptop before with a recovery disc. I can't seem to figure this one. Would appreciate any inputs.

This is the factory restore instructions from the manufacturers website.

Asus:

You can use it from a special hidden partition on the hard drive by pressing F9 at system startup
