I have two computers. The monitor (Acer) on #1 quit working. I switched monitors. #2 monitor (samsung) didn't work on #1 either. I thought it might be my computer. My brother got his monitor working with it. We thought it might have been my cables. I bought new ones. I tried it (with new cables) with monitor from #2. Didn't work. I put the orignial monitor back on, and it works. Now the monitor from #2 doesn't work on #2. I think it might be a driver issue, but not sure. Help?

We don't need to know about unknown drivers.

What happens when connect a monitor, then boot into Safe Mode?

Can't make it to safe mode. Monitor will not acknowledge anything, as it just says Check Signal Cable.

Then you have other problems if you can't even get into Safe Mode.

We really need to be dealing with one computer at time. If I am following, computer 1 works now, right?

And computer 2 does not work at all?

Have you cleaned the computer in question and reseated the video card?

#1 works perfect now, and is the one I am using to type this. #2 is the one in question. It was working fine just a little over an hour ago before I switched the monitors. I have not reseated the video card yet, as I just finished with dinner.
