Long Movies onto a DVD disc..how to do it pls!

Hi,

I am not really tech minded and can manage to burn films onto blank DVD discs that are under 2 hrs, I am wondering could someone please advise the best software and how do I go about burning anything over 2hrs...I dont have a clue
