I live in a small town away from anything else, and I don't have the money to hire anyone to fix this. I also don't know much about computers, lol.

So here's what's going on. In December, a stage light was dropped onto my Dell Inspiron n4110. An iPod was connected, and since then, I could not start it up. We got the hardware replaced. It has been going a bit better, except today, I've been having troubles with Startup.
It would turn on, sometimes, it would go straight to the menu where I can choose how to recover my system: by launching startup repair or starting windows normally.

When I would click Launch Startup Repair, the screen would go black and the Repair would not show on the screen or start.
When I would click Start Windows Normally, it would freeze at the Starting Windows screen, and after a few minutes, the blue screen of death flashed onto the screen and then it brought me back to the menu.

What's the problem and what is a simple solution?
