I try to use "safe share, which I have had for about two years, but when I am "home", I am not allowed to search...After installing new version, I am told by my system that "gift " is not running (gift error?)...HELP!

have you run any malware removal tools lately? Perhaps something took out a file
What has changed from when it worked? Did you install any software?
I am unfamiliar with this service, but it would not surprise me if firewall or antivirus software would interfere with it since it seems to be peer to peer related.
Didyou check technical support on their site? I cannot view the support section since it is only available to members
