On start-up, an autocheck error comes on

Also, some of my installed programs are not running properly, they keep freezing but would unfreeze after a few seconds.

I also get a Runtime Visual C++ Library pop-up error from time to time and when this error pops up, it makes my computer run slow.

Don't know what to do...

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium

~ty for your help

EDIT: I get this error on start-up
Unspecified error occured: 766f6c756d652e63 3f1

I can't load some installed games. When I double-click, the screen would flicker a little, and the game wouldn't pop-up but it shows in task manager -> processes
