My dell wont boot past dell logo

Pressing F12 while the system is booting up should allow you to run the built in Dell diagnostic tool;
Reboot the computer and when the Dell logo appears press F12, let us know if you are able to do this and if so what options are you offered.
Please explain what you mean by "work"f2 and f12 are the only keys that work.

Boot options, hard drive,cd/dvd,usb drive, diagnostics, & network I think. I am plugging it in now to make sure.

Have you tried starting in Safe Mode?
I did mean when adding future replies by the way
I know you said F8 did not work but how many times have you tried it and are you continuously tapping the F8 key while it is powering up, it can be tricky to catch it sometimes,
Do you have any way of downloading and saving your video drivers?
