Hello I have Windows 7 64 bit and an AMD x6 1045T processor i have 8 GB of Ram and i have various hard drive installed in my computer and i have a video card that has 1 GB of memory. I keep getting blue screen of death the last one was a TCPIP.sys screen. other screens i have seen said atapi.sys also irql_not_less_or_equal. please help.

:welcome:

Download BLUESCREENVIEW and install and run it to read the dump files created by windows.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Would you please tell me which antivirus applications you have had previously on this machine any and all.The reason I ask is because some like to hang around after you uninstall via add remove programs and require the use of removal tools.

Download CCLEANER


Just DONT us the registry cleaner function of CCleaner unless you know what you are deleting exactly!!

Then open ccleaner hit the tools button then startup second one down below uninstall then in the bottom right hand corner of ccleaner hit save to text file.Save it to your desktop and post the startup.txt here in your next reply.


Hit the start button in lower left hand corner. Then in the run box type msconfig, then hit the services tab then put a check mark in hide microsoft services what is listed there,after hiding microsoft services?Please post back to us in a vertical list.

Please download MINITOOLBOX When the box opens click save file, save it to the desktop and run it.





Checkmark the following boxes:

List Last Ten Event Viewer Errors
List MiniDump Files
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
Click Go and post the result.
List Devices (Only Problems)

Hit Go Post Results in your reply to me.

Run sfc /scannow also run chkdsk /r Links explaining below.

i actually put this computer together myself it has just started giving me trouble has been running great for about a year and a half so i installed a clean copy of windows 7 again to see if it would help with the bsod and keep getting errors. here is the minidumps.

When you have such a variety of crashes this is often caused by faulty RAM. Please download and run MEMTEST to check the RAM. There shouldn't be any error. Please run at least one full test.

Yes HKLM:Run APSDaemon "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\APSDaemon.exe"
Yes HKLM:Run BCU "C:\Program Files (x86)\DeviceVM\Browser Configuration Utility\BCU.exe"

Download Autoruns and Autorunsc unzip Autoruns to your desktop run it.See any entries that read file not found when you see them right click and select delete do this only for the entries that read file not found also uncheck any scheduled task that are set to run on your machine,close the program. http://technet.micro...ernals/bb963902


You will need to Open an elevated command prompt to complete the commands below.

In Command Prompt window, type in following commands, and hit Enter after each one:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
net stop "dns client"
net start "dns client"


Restart computer.

At Command Prompt, type in:
netsh int ip reset reset.log
Hit Enter.
Type in:
netsh winsock reset catalog
Hit Enter.

Restart computer.


Uninstall the programs listed below.

Ask Toolbar (Version: 1.6.6.0)
AVG 2012 (Version: 12.0.1913 )
AVG 2012 (Version: 12.0.2409)
AVG 2012 (Version: 2012.0.1913)

Run the Avg Removal Tool.

Reboot your machine if the tool does not.


Install Avast free.

Run tfc.exe by Old Timer.

Another possibility is a fauly hard drive. Disconnect all the drives excluding the one with the operating system and see what happens.

Run a hard disk full test by the test tool that is available from the manufacturer.

Run sfc /scannow to repair or replace damaged system files. If you need help please let us know.

Are you sure that the power supply unit of your system is powerful enough to bear such a heavy load of hardware?
