Hello all, sorry if this is in the wrong place, please feel free to direct me where my question would be most appropriate....i have a dell studio 1737, it had no bluetooth card and i put in a dell 370, the light to the top right of the keyboard now is lit, but there is no icon at the lower right, by the clock. the first time i fired it up, there was a message about drivers downloading, i assumed it was for the card i had just installed. still no icon by the clock, no recognition of devices. now i went to the dell site and found and downloaded the driver for a 1737, but after i got it unzipped, it goes out to search for updates, and a dialogue box tells me that this upgrade will not work w my system....my only choice is to say ok at this point, and when i do the install seems to be aborted. upon closer examination, the driver is listed as for an inspiron 1737, and not a studio 1737....even though i found it searching for a studio 1737. it has several inspirons and studios listed, but no studio 1737. is there a correct driver for my model? where might i find such a driver? am i just doing something wrong? Thank You for any and all help here

I would like you to try drivermax to get the driver you need please let me know if this works for you.
http://www.innovativ....com/drivermax/

If the case is that drivermax doesnt do the job can you open your device manager and see if the device you installed is listed there with any yellow ? or ! marks next to it of so then please download unknown device Identifier and post the log it creates this will help me get you the exact driver that you need.

Also can you tell me what os you are running vista or windows 7.Also you can use Belarc Advisor to get the Exact model of your machine if you are unsure of anything be careful if you decide to post the results of belarc here as it contains sensitive info on your machine such as serial numbers and the key for your version of windows I hope that this is helpful in solving your issue. :)

If I may make a suggestion folks
Uninstall the Bluetooth drivers that you have installed, reboot the system and then download from the Dell driver centre or manager and run that to see if you get the correct drivers http://www.dell.com/...rs/uk/en/ukgen1
