I would like you to try drivermax to get the driver you need please let me know if this works for you.

If the case is that drivermax doesnt do the job can you open your device manager and see if the device you installed is listed there with any yellow ? or ! marks next to it of so then please download unknown device Identifier and post the log it creates this will help me get you the exact driver that you need.

Also can you tell me what os you are running vista or windows 7.Also you can use Belarc Advisor to get the Exact model of your machine if you are unsure of anything be careful if you decide to post the results of belarc here as it contains sensitive info on your machine such as serial numbers and the key for your version of windows I hope that this is helpful in solving your issue.

hello,
so far no luck w driver max....i am running windows vista on a dell studio 1737, and there is no unknown device showing in my device manager, thank you very much for your assistance...

If I may make a suggestion folks
Uninstall the Bluetooth drivers that you have installed, reboot the system and then download from the Dell driver centre or manager and run that to see if you get the correct drivers http://www.dell.com/...rs/uk/en/ukgen1
