After fdisk and install windows 98se rebooted pc now mouse and keyboard no longer function not even in dos. They are in correct plugs. Have rearranged them and rebooted, have plugged just one in and not the other, have used an adapter and plugged in different plug other than PS2. Nothing works. Can anyone help me get the mouse and keyboard function back.

please look at win98 install and identify the step # and screen shot where the final reboot occurred.

FYI - do not hot swap ps2 devices. always shutdown before installing/removing the keyboard and mouse.
