Hello! I am a computer novice at best. Today, I saw a blue screen and so I restarted the computer. The blue screen reappeared saying "if this is the first time you have seen this.....etc.."........ and I just chose waited and chose "start windows normally"

I have an Acer small laptop and use it mainly for Internet & MS Word. I read through numerous other posts, but I didn't want to follow any instructions about blue screens improperly in case it might make things worse.

Does anyone have any recommendations/advice/ideas on why the blue screen might have appeared?

Thanks in advance,
Mel :)
