Emule not working in Windows 7

eMule is installed correctly (apparently), I open ports TCP and UDP and this little mule in the lower right side appears without this black thing covering its eyes (which means ports are open)
so I go to connect eDK2 and Kad, first one appears with green arrow in this little world icon in eMule, but Kad doesn't work, appears with red arrow in the world icon and can't find people (or whatever it is)
i have already reinstalled eMule (version 0.50a)
and i'm trying without Avast installed as well
