My desktop was custom make so it is not a brand name. It runs on Windows 7. About a week ago it started shutting down occasionally, but today it decided to give me the blue screen and will not complete a boot. I have Norton's because it comes free with my internet provider. When I reboot the computer, Norton's opens and tries to fix the problem, but it shuts down before it can do anything. I cannot run the scans and I tried the Frst64.exe, but it would not open. Said it was not and internal command.

When I tried turning on my computer after it setting for a couple days, it tried to run a boot repair. when that failed it allowed me to complete a system restore. This thread can be closed.
