OK this has to be the hd then that is causing this issue.
I have had bad memory brand new but the errors point to a driver which is possible if the hd is bad if the location was in the bad kb on the hd.
Have you tried Windows Updates to see if it finds any updated drivers for your system?

OK worse case scenario we have to install a new OS. Being a new HD you may be able to clone it over from this HD but I'm not sure this would be the best route to take with all the issues going on.
I would say install a new OS, update everything through Microsoft first.
Then install a AV to make sure you are safe.
From this point you could install your programs you want or need.
After installation of programs we can try to pull data off the old hd or if you have a recent backup you can use that.

You can use your disk since it is going to be installed on the same system. Once installed and all updates, programs, drivers are done. then we check to make sure there are no BSOD's or any other errors. Once verified then you have to hook old drive up to copy the data to the new drive unless like I said you have a recent backup of your data.

OK no I was worried where the downloads were coming from or if I just wasn't understanding what you were saying. You are good with the downloads.

Now that everything is reloaded and running how does the device manager look?
Please Go to

1: START and the click on RUN
2: Type in devmgmt.msc
3: Click Enter

To do a screenshot please have click on your Print Screen on your keyboard. It is normally the key above your number pad between the F12 key and the Scroll Lock key
Now go to Start and then to All Programs
Scroll to Accessories and then click on Paint
In the Empty White Area click and hold the CTRL key and then click the V
Go to the File option at the top and click on Save as
Save as file type JPEG and save it to your Desktop

Perfect, that is what we want to see.

That is really good to hear. It seem that HD may have been the root of the whole issue. ;)

How is the system running with everything now?
All the updates are done?
Any hiccups or bumps along the way?
