I am having a few problems with my computer and I am hoping that someone can help me with it...I was given my pc as a gift. My mother bought it for me from a pawn shop and since right after I got it it has been having a blue screen error once in a while and it will shut itself down quite often and anytime I have gotten a blue screen error it has been right after the computer had just shut itself off. The battery went bad and I had to take it out and plug in to an outlet as I haven't gotten a replacement yet but I wouldn't think that is why I am having so many issues. I am also having problems with dropping my internet signal and having very slow internet and I thought it was just my internet but my neighbors let me get on theirs and it was still slower that it should be yet my computer itself is not that slow. I would appreciate any tips or help you can give as I hear that these are all common problems. Here is my computer info:

Download/install BlueScreenView, http://www.nirsoft.n...creen_view.html .

Double-click BlueScreenView.exe file.

When autoscan is done (screen comes up), click Edit/Select All...then File/Save Selected Items.

Save the report as BSOD.txt.

Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content and paste it into your next reply.

NEXT

Download WhoCrashed
This program checks for any drivers which may have been causing your computer to crash....

Click on the file you just downloaded and run it.

  • Put a tick in Accept then click on Next.
  • Put a tick in the Don't create a start menu folder then click Next.
  • Put a tick in Create a Desktop Icon.
  • then click on Install and make sure there is a tick in Launch Whocrashed before clicking Finish.
  • Click Analyze
  • It will want to download the Debugger and install it Say Yes

WhoCrashed will create report but you have to scroll down to see it.
Copy and paste it into your next reply.

NEXT

Please download MiniToolBox http://download.blee...MiniToolBox.exe and run it.

Checkmark following boxes:

  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size
  • List Devices (Only Problems)

Click Go and post the result.
