I have always found XP to be very user friendly when it came to emailing photos. Just open My Pictures, and the command "email this file" was right in the menu.

On my laptop I have Windows 7, and find it to be much harder to email pics. I have Googled this question, and someone suggested downloading Outlook 2007 to my computer. I know nothing about this, and wanted to ask the question here to get ideas on it.

I do still use Outlook Express on my desktop and have liked the format of that in getting my email. Is the Outlook 2007 similar to that? I am confused on what to do.

Thanks

Outlook is part of Microsoft Office.

For windows 7, you want Windows Live Mail, looks and feels a lot like Outlook Express. It's part of Windows Live Essentials
