Hi everybody, i hope you are ok.

im trying to make a software that make possible to log into my laptop not using my password but using a bar/qrcode printed in a card. I want to use the webcam of the laptop like a barcode reader.
To make it possible i think i need :

- Software then let me use my webcam like barcode reader
- Software to set a database of users to recognize my barcode when i try to login
- Software to make personal barcodes
- Help to set the software's together
- And mos difficulty hep make the software run on windows start up, before log in.

Can anybody help me????

Hi Elvis1989,

As far as I'm aware, there currently isn't any program out there that will allow you to login to your account using a barcode. Realistically speaking, I think you should give up with this one unless you are prepared to write the program yourself. There's software out there that will allow you to log in with a picture of your face, but not a barcode:

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

Hi Elvis1989,

I think it is possible, but only if you were at a very high level with a programming language! Even then it would be difficult though.

No worries :)
