I have my printer setup on my laptop and have my other computers connected wirelessly to my laptop allowing them to use the printer. The printer itself is not wireless. The odd part is that I can print on all of the computers connected to my laptop, but I can't print off of my laptop. It says printing "page etc" then disappears. Nothing in printer queue or anything. Everything with the printer installed flawlessly, and I've tried stopping the Printer Spool in both msconfig and Services under Control Panel. I have also tried deleting the contents of the PRINTER folder under C>Windows>System32>Spool. I am completely lost as far as what to do next. All computer use Win 7 x64. And the printer is connected via USB under USB001 Virtual Printer Port. The printer is a HP Deskjet F4180 All in One.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure that isn't it because I just downloaded the all in one update last week. This only happens on my laptop, so I'm thinking it has to do with the driver or something that I don't know how to fix.

Well I am not sure that this had anything to do with your issue but you can run this tool with all the boxes checked cant hurt.
http://www.tweaking....all_in_one.html

Just make sure and create a restore point prior to running the tool. :)
Hope it helps.

Ran it and all it did was slow down my laptop immensly so I had to revert back to restore point. Although it did add some stuff I've never seen on my desktop that had something to do with printer. There was an HP thing on my desktop that allowed me to drag pictures to it, still wouldn't print though.

Hrm, sounds like you guys covered most of the basics when it comes to why the printer is not working.
So, this printer is setup on your laptop and shared on the network. All the networked systems print to the printer via the laptop it is attach to? Correct?

This may be a stupid question but is this printer set to Default? Are there any other printers (or printer software) setup on this laptop that is forcing it to print to old/wrong printer?

I hope this doesn't come off as rude, it is just the first thing that popped into my mind. Simple thing to over look.

Anyways, let us know.

Ya all of the other computers print through this laptop just fine. It is set as the default printer, and as far as I know I have gotten rid of all other drivers and software. I was told by a friend the best thing to do would be to manually uninstall and delete all software and drivers related to the printer and just to start fresh, but I thought I've done that. I know for sure that I've uninstalled all software, but I'm not sure about the driver itself.
