Laptop Screen doubled/low res

my problem is the same of the post i linked above. Last night laptop worked fine. this morning upon boot, the screen is duplicated horizontally and resolution grainy. Tried to do a system restore, and did not solve the problem. Anyone have any information regarding what this could possibly be. Rather frustrating. I will try to re-boot and restart.

You may have a loose or damaged video ribbon/cable.

Couple of questions for you, have you tried connecting the notebook to an external screen and what are the brand and model name or number details of the notebook.

i agree with phillpower2. you need to discuss with technical team to solve your problem.i don't know but may be you need to change some parts.
