streeming tv pc speed?

im looking to streem tv from desktop pc. my pc is to slow and a card upgrade doesn't help,makes it worse actually.

i need to know were the speed would start for this to work?

i had a 2.7GHz awile back that worked ok but not really great.

any advice will be appreciated,

What sort of streaming services are you trying to use? Or are you doing a dlna stream from your pc?
