ive had this laptop that im using 2 weeks now and i have it at the same spec as my last one that broke (2gb mem,t5750 duo core 2 processor and a 320gb HD,that is currently broke) for some reason this laptop came with xp on it and a t3200 duo core processor and it never failed to start. So upon receiving it i put in my t5750 processor and installed vista from my original discs and have it all upto date and no virus's checked daily with microsofts msr tool and also microsofts security essentials. basically this laptop is empty due to me losing everythin from my old HD. The harddrive that is in is a toshiba 250gb.
nearly everytime i go to start it,(even after not using it all day so its cold) once the white bar gets to the middle of Dell logo itll then take ages to get to the end and it wont boot after it.Even after a numourous attempts of turning off and back on,it is really frustrating.
Also i noticed the battery light (loading) flashes once every 20 secs....
whilst browsing, even with 1 tab open itll keep randomly crashing and take a good 10 mins to sort itself out,but it seems i cant do anythin without it crashing.
Is this processor failing due to it being on xp and being fast on start up upon arrival with the t3200 in?
Ive tried booting it from the disc and doing a repair my computer and it said no errors were found :/
Ive also gone into f12 screen and performed a test and nothhin was found.
Can anyone please help.
Thanks
