So recently, I installed Windows 7 Ultimate to my ASUS netbook. After that, I installed The Sims 3 but when I tried to play it, this came up:

It worked fine before I installed Windows 7 Ultimate. And then when I checked it said that I have a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. It told me to update it. It wasn't available in Windows Update. I searched all over the internet but couldn't find a way. Please help! And my screen resolution is stuck at 800 x 600.
Please help ASAP.

Sounds like you are missing the drivers for the main board that controls all of the functions.
What did you upgrade from?

Go to start then computer.
Right click on computer and click on manage.
Under system, click on device manager.
Take a screen shot and then upload here so we can look at it.

Glad you got it fixed.
As a side note windows updates won't update the main board drivers. You have to either have the driver CD or get them from the manufacturer like you did.
