My computer started crashing (43 times since January 6, according to Windows)so I copied my data files to my back up, ext. hard drive and tried lots of fixes.
Nothing seemed to work and it was getting worse and worse.
I bought a new HD (WD 1TerraByte internal, SATA)and tried to re-install my Windows 7.
I kept getting error messages that it couldn't install because of a lack of resources and I should try again.
After a bunch of attempts, it finally installed. I tried downloading the 139 updates that I'm missing and it stops part of the way through and won't budge.
It keeps re-starting and is unstable with some of the same error messages I was getting with my old HD. It runs checkdisk but doesn't seem to find anything.
The only thing left is my motherboard, could that be the trouble? Or my BIOS?
I'm ready to go out and buy a new computer.
