First suggestion is to read the information at the attached link and then second to run the upgrade assistant to check for possible compatibility issues http://windows.micro...de-to-windows-8
Can you provide a link to where these ISOs are from so that we can take a look.

When you install Windows 8 choose the 'Keep everything' option and your present files will be stored.
Windows 8 is yours for the duration that Windows 8 lasts.

So it is lifetime license? But how do I install from USB? Can't I beter burn it on a DVD?You can download Windows 8 to your desktop and install it later or use a USB storage device.
When you install Windows 8 choose the 'Keep everything' option and your present files will be stored.
Windows 8 is yours for the duration that Windows 8 lasts.
Thanks!

than the offer from Microsoft which expires on 31 Jan at £24.99 UK
http://www.microsoft...e.Windows_8_Pro
which can be then installed at ANYTIME before October 2015
As my good colleague phillpower2 says
It can be downloaded and then installation media created and the choice is there as to which after the download - NOT install NOW as that will install it on the system THEN
Of course if you can get it FREE that is even better
