Uninstalling potentially harmful prog.

Hello, I'm trying to uninstall some software called Resume maker. Whenever I try to remove it, it says cannot open : INSTALL.LOG file. :S
Whether its from the start menu or the 'add or remove' programs. Just want to get rid of it. Have a feeling its infected.
