I recently got my laptop fixed, the guy who fixed it put a new hard drive in and re-installed Windows 7.
One week later, and when I open a website or program that requires alot of power, I get the bad pool header blue screen.
I have looked online and I don't understand any of it.
Please someone help!!!!1

Bad Pool Header in the circumstances you describe is best approached by the following

1. Go Computer

Open C drive - by double clicking on the drive

Open Windows folder by double clicking on the Windows entry

Scroll down the folders to Mini Dump Open MIniDump by double clicking on that. If there is no Mini Dump folder - see if there is MEMORY.DMP

Copy the latest dump file if there is more than one - save a copy of that to your docs

send that as an attached ZIPPED if necessary file on your reply by clicking use full editor.

2. Go back to Computer right click C drive presuming that is the letter of the drive on which windows is installed

Click properties

click tools

click error checking.

click check now

click to check the second box check for bad sectors, so now both boxes are checked

click start and agree the message to run on restart

WATCH the screen and see if any bad sectors are recorded

It is a five stage check, please do not interrupt it

3. Memory check ram

Open Memory Diagnostics Tool by clicking the Start button Posted Image, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type Memory, and then click Diagnose your computer's memory problems.‌ Posted Image If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

run the check see if it reports problems.

Please post the results, together with the dump file

Open Windows folder by double clicking on the Windows entry

Scroll down the folders to Mini Dump Open MIniDump by double clicking on that. If there is no Mini Dump folder - see if there is MEMORY.DMP

Copy the latest dump file if there is more than one - save a copy of that to your docs

send that as an attached ZIPPED if necessary file on your reply by clicking use full editor.

AS highlighted in red - download your updated wireless adapter driver. DO YOU NEED FURTHER ADVICE PLEASE - if so provide make and full model of laptop if using inbuilt wireless adapter OR make and model of adapter if using USB plugged in wireless adapter

May well be Windows has offered new driver, does sometimes provide wrong one.

I think I sorted it, I checked for updates, and there was one for my wireless driver, I tried loading a highpowered page again, and nothing happened.

I will keep seeing if its fixed, if so. Thank you for your help.
