it would not let me copy & paste it. then i got another bsod. i sent it to the desktop, i hope this works. it didn't.

it doesn't give me an option to paste. also, when i get to the folder named minidump, it has a little lock icon on it. so does the live kernel reports and prefetech & memory.dmp files.

i was grouchy last night because the comp gave me a bluescreen while trying to view FB posts. i did a restore to an earlier time. a box popped up afterward and said restore failed, but it looks like it worked according to some icons on the desktop that i had removed recently. i hope this doesn't adversely affect any help you are providing me.

I am looking at references to both the video driver and the intel wifi driver

If the blue screens continue we will update both drivers ..

How is the speed now ?

it actually seems better, i think i might have done a microsoft update that i shouldn't have. those things are so confusing. from now on i'll let the computer decide which ones to update and i'll stay out of it. maybe i should update the drivers anyway?

OK drivers I use a small tool called slimdrivers

Download and install
During the install you will see this page

Decline the toolbar and continue the install

Press start scan and let it analyse the system

Once done if you could screenshot the results we will go through the drivers to install

That's good, update the four drivers shown, slimdrivers will perform a backup of the old drivers first for safety.. Allow it to do that
