Check cable connection!

Operating System not found

Had a hard drive failure. replaced it, boot order is disk and then hdd, inserted new windows disk and still get error. Tried another brand new hard drive and get the same issue. The old hard drive will boot but just randomly crashes as you are using it. I've built and repaired computers for years but this is confusing me.

Make and model number of computer?
Type of hard drive, SATA or PATA (IDE)?

Does the drive show up in BIOS Setup?
