This problem appeared on my Dell Vostro 400 desktop, running Vista Ultimate, 3 days ago.
When I right-click on a jpeg file the following pop-up appears - EncodeMenu, SDK fails, OK.
If I press OK 5 times the right-click menu appears.
On the desktop, if I right-click on any shortcut, the menu appears when I click OK 4 times and the same for word docs

Masterking, I seem to be following you around tonight

Where do you get ESET Sysinspector from? There is no link on the page you provided a link to.

MasterKing, thank you for replying so promptly. I apologise for not getting back to you sooner but I have been ill since I posted the query. If you can bear with me I hope to be fit to provide you with the required information in the next few days. Regards jAYkROW

I have just recovered from illness so I sat down to reply to your offer of help but when I checked out the problem it has disappeared! The computer has hardly been on but it did install the latest windows updates the last time it was on. This sort of thing happens all to often with Windows updates and hours are lost head-scratching.
