Go to Start then to Search
Type in compmgmt.msc and click Enter
On the left side click on Disk Management
On the right side you will see your hard drive.
Now I need you to take a screenshot and attach it to your next reply.
Do the following to take a screenshot while the above is open and showing on your desktop.
To capture and post a screenshot;
Click on the ALT key + PRT SCR key..its on the top row..right hand side..now click on start...all programs...accessories...paint....left click in the white area ...press CTRL + V...click on file...click on save...save it to your desktop...name it something related to the screen your capturing... BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A .JPG ...otherwise it may be to big to upload... then after typing in any response you have... click on browse...desktop...find the screenshot..select it and click on the upload button...then on the lower left...after it says upload successful...click on add reply like you normally would.
Screenshot instructions are provided to assist those that may read this topic but are not yet aware of the “how to”.

Do you recall from my reply #7
Can I ask, do you by chance have more than one Anti Virus program on your computer.
I noted the following in your Autoruns log;
Please run the mcafee uninstaller tool http://service.mcafe...spx?id=TS101331 let us know when you have done this.(x86)\mcafee security scan\3.0.207\mcchsvc.exe" "6/17/2011 10:23 AM"

Affected Suites:
McAfee AntiVirusPlus
McAfee Family Protection
McAfee Internet Security
McAfee Online Backup
McAfee Total Protection
I thought I would try to run the uninstaller anyway but I don't even have a McAfee account. Would you like me to run the reporting tool again? Also, just noticed that my computer automatically upgraded to IE9.

Type in: sfc /scannow
Click OK (Enter in Vista).
Have Windows CD/DVD handy (not always required).
If System File Checker (sfc) finds any errors, it may ask you for the CD/DVD.
If sfc does not find any errors in Windows XP, it will simply quit, without any message.
In Vista you will receive the following message: "Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations".
For Vista & W7 users ONLY: Navigate to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder. You'll see CBS.log file.
Usually, it's pretty big file, so upload it to http://www.mediafire.com/ and then post download link here.

I found instructions to open the cbs.log file (I made a copy to my desktop) and followed these instructions Instructions. I found this confusing - thinking I would get a .txt file named sfcdetails but after running the string in the command prompt, I was able to open the cbs.log file on my desktop. I purused through the file and came across this string: "Could not reproject corrupted file [ml:520{260},l:46{23}]"\??\C:\Windows\System32"\[l:20{10}]"tcpmon.ini"; source file in store is also corrupted"
The original file from the Windows directory does not seem to be uploading although I am not sure if the contents are identical to what is on my desktop now. (Don't really know what that command did that I ran) Anyway, I will upload it to MediaFire with the file name CBS1.log.
Here is the link to the file that I had to manipulate. The other one would not upload.

Before I suggest anything further can I ask that you check that your computer is not infected with malware, please refer to the GTG malware redirect text below as no malware guidance is permitted outside of the malware forums;
Please read the 'Start Here' topic found here. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. If you are still having problems after following Step 3 of the guide, continue with Step 4 and 5 and post in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run any programs, Please create a topic stating what you have tried so far and that you are unable to run any programs. Also, Please do NOT post the logs in this thread.
If you are still having issues after the malware expert gives you a clean bill of health, Please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
Additional guidance;
1: Do not create a topic on the malware forum unless you have a malware issue that you cannot resolve yourself.
2: If you do need to start a topic there provide a link to this thread so that steps that have already been taken can be checked.
3: As the Malware Techs are extremely busy you may not receive an instant reply, if you have waited for three days then post in the Waiting Room http://www.geekstogo...e-waiting-room/ be sure to identify the issue as malware related and provide a link to your malware topic.
