Windows dreaded BSOD

Quick history... woke up to the computer having been restarted (no biggy, comp is set to auto update and probably restarted). Logged in, then Adobe Flash had an update available so I updated. That's when I got the dreaded BSOD after the update. I figured no problem, I'll just uninstall flash and start over. Even with Flash no longer being on the computer, I still get the BSOD. Ran a malware scan and found "Exploit.drop.9" so that's deleted now. Ran CCleaner to clean the temp files. Still get the BSOD at random. I'm in safe mode now and I've even gotten the BSOD here! Anybody care to help a brother out?

Open your device manager hit the start button then right click on computer then select properties then select device manager.

In device manager, click the View menu and select Show hidden devices

Then hit view again and select devices by connection.



Then scroll down right click and uninstall the drivers listed below,dont worry these will be reinstalled upon reboot by windows.

Security Processor Loader Driver



Each of these files will request a reboot after uninstall wait until the last one to reboot.

Open your copy of Autoruns and untick the item below it ism located under the drivers tab this is a leftover from Daemon tools which is known for causing bluescreen issues.

I went and uninstalled and ran those 2 extra things you had listed. We'll see how she runs for the next day or so and will post back. Thank you for the help! You guys rock!

so far so good man. been using this laptop more than my linux just to test it. hasn't had a BSOD or anything. i'd say it's fixed! *hands you $100 monopoly money*

well so much for that one! Just got the [bleep] BSOD this morning about 5min ago :( I'm about to either A) use the laptop for target practice or B) format the stupid thing and start over from scratch!
