Not a topic related directly to Ad-aware but Team Lavasoft recommend the use of CCleaner to assist in the process.
To Download CCleaner
(Setup: go to >options > settings > Uncheck "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours" for cleaning malware files!)
