Bad, I was trying to hike in the mountains, but the weather was awful.

Let's t back to work.
Go back here and try to fix it one more time. If not, we'll do some manual stuff :)

Hi there :)

I need some time to get through this log, because I'm accessing only from mobile till thursday afternoon. Tell me more about SP2 installation, later on I'll compare it with your report :)

Also please perform this one:

Start menu (Windows Orb), in search bar please type
cmd.exe
and when it finishes searching right-click and choose Run as Administrator.
Then type
sfc /scannow
and hit enter.
Finished with errors/warnings or without (it can take some time)?

Hi nige,

What update is failing? I'm fairly certain it's a update for your printer, or other hardware, but if you could tell me the KB article number then that would be very helpful.

0x800f020b maps to SPAPI_E_NO_SUCH_DEVINST (The device instance does not exist in the hardware tree.)

hi tom, thanks for replying

ive had a look at the update history and the only 2 recent ones that failed are something to do with my windows 7 phone

not overly bothered about it so no need for you to waste your time with it

everything else seems to be ok, except this lappy seems to be slowing down and not saving my login details for various sites..is that something you could assist with or should i start a new thread

regards
nige
