First time here and I am hoping I posted in the right area. Moms computer was infected and following the steps here I was able to clean it, but I have one issue. When I reboot the computer I get a RegSvr32 window that states c:\Users\Carole'sComputer\Appdata\Local\Ligos\vlcpmhev.dll failed to load. I had tried searching for this and could not find anything, is this something left over from the malware I had removed if so how can I remove it.

thankyou again everyone for keeping this site rocking

Hello :welcome:

Can you please download Autoruns: from here.
Unzip it and run autoruns.exe.
Wait until it completes scanning (information "ready" should appear in the bottom left corner).
Go to File -> Save -> in the "Save as" prompt choose *.txt and name it somehow.
Attach the file to your next answer
