just updated my FIOS, so far so good.

I use this test all of the time in the malware forum:

Here's how to get a pretty picture of the results to put in the forum instead of a link:

Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and click on Begin Test

When the Test finishes click on Share This Result and then select Forum then Copy then move to a reply and Ctrl + v

I thought I had reason to complain! At least my F has a + behind it. I've paid 1/4 the cost for dial-up as opposed to what I pay now for satellite. Dial-up may have been slow, but at least I knew I could count on the connection being there when needed.

do you ever get what you pay for? during the heavy traffic times it was no better then what I had?

Tech support updated my dish and modem today. Earlier the speed were not much different while on wireless connection, though now that peak time of day has passed I received the following using wireless:



And the following while directly connected to modem:



Connection download Mpbs reached 30.+ earlier. The difference's in speed between wireless vs direct connection did not even cross my mind.
