Car battery chargers

Hello I bought a car battery charger for my Acer laptop, plugged it in and it didn't work. Not only that but it seems to have done something to my battery on the laptop, because when I plug in my home battery charger it also doesn't work. Any advise please.

Do you have a link to the car battery charger that you used + the model name or number of the Acer notebook.

It is possible that the DC jack port has been damaged, have you tried removing the battery from the notebook and connecting the AC adapter to see if the Acer will power up.
