My note book computer is rebooting itself every time I turn on the computer, I turn on the computer and start normally with the window name, after the system continue to up the system and happen that appear this blue screen for a second with something write on it (that I can not read), but after a second or two the computer reboot itself and the cycle start again, I can not do nothing I try to go to Safe mode or the last good reboot and the same happen, I think is the hard drive but I can not put a operative system DVD or CD because I not have CD-Rom or DVD-Rom to do so, just USB ports, that is where you members of geektogo can help me... never do this before and I know I sound stupid for do not know this, hope someone can help me to tell me how to put the operative system using a flash drive.

thank you for any help someone can give me

Hi,

Is your system Windows 7? Press F8 during boot to access the boot menu:
Posted Image
- select the option Disable automatic restart on system failure
- next select Start Windows Normally

Doing this you should be able to see the error you get on the Blue Screen.
Post the error because it could help diagnosing the problem.

You posted in the wrong forum. This one is for Vista and Windows 7 which does have the Repair you computr choice.

When you get to the Advanced Boot options Menu, select Disable automatic restart on system failure. See if the next boot gives you a blue screen (BSOD). If so, record the info and post it here.

Yes, you do have the Advanced Boot Options Menu. It looks a lot like the one SleepytDude posted but without the Repair your computer selection.

You get to it the same way, by pressing F8 during boot as soon as you see the Manufacturers logo and keep tapping it every second or so until the menu appears.

Once there, select Disable automatic restart on system failure and see if you get the BSOD.

Hi Ztruker,

Thank you for your help, I re-posted my post on window XP area. I finally found what Sleepydude was telling me, and went to the screen that he suggested and I be able to stop the computer to continue rebooting itself, and I see the error, I not get any suggestion from Sleepydude yet, If you can please go to window xp page and continue the conversation there if you can.

Thank you for you help.

Transit

Ps, anyway I post the error here to you to see it,
