My Toshiba Satellite L755D-S5204 has a problem were sometimes if I leave it running a long time, it will freeze after inactivity instead of going into sleep mode. One other time it went into sleep/hibernate it would not wake up. Whenever something like this happens I am forced to hard reboot it. Once that happens it works fine. It has only happened on occasion, its still a cause for worry for me. This computer is used, I have had it since February, this started fairly recently. Any idea what might be causing this? My system is running Windows 7.

Have you checked all the devices support Sleep?

Open Device Manager, expand the tab for a certain device, and then select Properties. Once in Properties of the selected device, change the Property value to Power Data, and then post a screenshot of the supported power states.

Hi if you've only had it since February. Then you might be better to take it back to the shop and explain you are having problems with it as it may still be under warranty. It can void a warranty if you do certain things to it.

The one for my graphics card look just like the one you posted, everything was the same stuff, just a different model. Any other devices I should look at? There is a lot of them.

Sleep is supported by the devices, I wonder if it could be IRP issue with the drivers or even the HAL.

Run Driver Verifier to scan for any corrupted drivers which may be causing problems, this program works by running various stress tests on drivers, in order to produce a BSOD which will locate the driver; run for least 24 hours:
