This literally just started happing yesterday on a system that has been up and running for some time.

Suddenly, any running program/service can no longer access network shares, via mapped drive OR uac. Has been working previous year. Any ideas?

Hi Konowl :welcome:

Is this the same computer you post about on the Malware section of the forum?

Do you get any error when trying to access?

Make sure you don't have the firewall blocking the access to network shares.

No it's a different box. One of my virtual servers. I added a key to the registry that fixed the issue but it's very perplexing that it just started happening out of the blue.
