Cant Copy like I used to

On my new w8 pc I cant copy from the pdf Adobe reader doc like on my old vista pc - why is the copy function gone in the new edition?

Copy works for me on Adobe Reader 11.0 running on Windows 8 Pro X64. You don't have to do anything special, just highlight what you want then right click and copy or maybe press Ctrl+C (have not tried that).

Edit: Yup, Ctrl+C works.

yeah, all i got is a little grabby hand thing and it wont highlight

What version of Adobe Reader do you have?

What about clicking on the Highlight Text icon?

I have adobe X1 - whatever that means.

I can higlight but when right clicking it doesnt give me a copy option?
