Hey. I am not allowed to register with a site because I was registered but had someone stay at mine and they made an account. Their account got deleted so he kept on making a new account and it kept on being wiped by the moderator. Now my account has been wiped as well. I now realise that they do not allow 2 accounts from the the same computer because they think it is one person having 2 profiles, it's POF dating site by the way.

I have seen something about changing IP address, something to do with cookies? I do not even know what these are. I have seen a site that says I can change my IP address:

http://imtarun.blogs...h-proxy-or.html

I am not sure if this can be trusted? Can someone please help. Thanks.

Oh and I did not know where to post this but I have got windows 7 so I just put here!

Some proxies are trusted, and you should not be afraid of anything. I like to use Hidemyass proxy, and it is safe. If you are still not sure, you can try using the proxy to connect to Whatismyipaddress and it will show you a different IP (if it works). You can also try the "Tor button" if you are using Mozilla.

This idea may be stupid but.....>>>
Why not just email the admin of the site and explain your situation to them?
As if you do use a proxy to get around a ban depending on what country you are in you may be committing a criminal offence and vpns and proxies can still leak your real IP, so you may get in extra trouble and your internet provider if complained to by the dating agency may say you broke TOS and cut you off no refund.
